Δεν έκανε καλά Χριστούγεννα το τμήμα βόλεϊ του Παναθηναϊκού στο πλαίσιο της δέκατης αγωνιστικής της Volleyleague, καθώς γνώρισαν την ήττα με 3-1 σετ από τον Φοίνικα στη Σύρο.

Οι «πράσινοι» ήταν καλοί μόνο στο τρίτο σετ το οποίο και πήραν, ενώ στα άλλα τρία δεν κατάφεραν να κοντράρουν τους γηπεδούχους. Πρώτος σκόρερ για το «τριφύλλι» ήταν ο Μπολζάνι με 15 πόντους.

Πλέον ο Παναθηναϊκός συγκατοικεί στη δέκατη θέση του βαθμολογικού πίνακα με τον Παμβοχαϊκό, έχοντας δέκα πόντους.
