Αν και νεοσύστατο τμήμα, αυτό της πρακτικής σκοποβολής, ο Παναθηναϊκός δείχνει έτοιμος να χαρίσει και εδώ πολλές διακρίσεις αφού είναι το πιο επιτυχημένο τμήμα του συλλόγου τα τελευταία χρόνια με συνεχείς διακρίσεις και τίτλους. Για του λόγου το αληθές κατέκτησε την πρώτη θέση στην κατηγορία OPTICS στον αγώνα κριτών της ΣΚΟΕ, που διεξήχθη στο σκοπευτήριο της Μαλακάσας  με τον Παναγιώτη Μανιώτη.
