Όπως αναφέρεται στην εφημερίδα Live Sport, ο Μολέντο έμαθε για τα σενάρια μετά από πληροφόρηση των συμπαικτών του και δεν μπορούσε να αντιληφθεί το κατά πόσο έχουν ρεαλιστικές βάσεις.

Χαρακτηριστικά τόνιζε πως είναι ικανοποιημένος στον Παναθηναϊκό και δεν έχει διάθεση να αποχωρήσει. Συν τοις άλλοις, περιμένει και αυτός όπως και στο «τριφύλλι» την άφιξη στην Ελλάδα του μάνατζέρ του προκειμένου να διευθετηθούν και οι τελευταίες λεπτομέρειες για την οριστική ανανέωση του συμβολαίου του μέχρι τον Ιούνιο του 2020.
