Εδώ και 2 χρόνια περίπου ο Λούκας Βιγιαβάνιες έχει ξεκινήσει τις διαδικασίες για την έκδοση ελληνικού διαβατηρίου, καθώς ο παππούς του ήταν Έλληνας και ο ίδιος έχει δηλώσει πως θα ήθελε πάρα πολύ να τιμήσει τους προγόνους του.

Πλέον είναι θέμα ημερών ο «Βίγια» να γίνει και επίσημα Έλληνας, καθώς μέχρι τα μέσα του μήνα αναμένεται ο άσος του Παναθηναϊκού να πάρει την ελληνική υπηκοότητα και παράλληλα θα μπορεί να αγωνιστεί με την Εθνική Ελλάδας.
