Ο Παναθηναϊκός κατάφερε να πάρει χρόνο από την UEFA, καθώς κατάφερε να γλιτώσει τον υποβιβασμό και παράλληλα την απαγόρευση των μεταγραφών της χειμερινής περιόδου, αρκεί να διακανονίσει τις οφειλές του μέχρι την 1 Μαρτίου, αλλιώς θα επέλθει η τιμωρία.

Πιο συγκεκριμένα η εφημερίδα «Documento» παρουσίασε αναλυτικά την απόφαση της UEFA, από την οποία γίνεται γνωστό πως το ποσό που πρέπει να εξοφλήσουν ή να διακανονίσουν οι «πράσινοι» είναι ύψους 5.631.000 ευρώ.
